Approach
Pakko writes the install command for you. You pick a distro family and a package manager, tick the apps you want, and copy one command.
Three families are covered: Ubuntu/Debian (apt, snap), Arch/Manjaro (pacman, plus yay for the AUR) and Fedora/RHEL (dnf, flatpak). Flatpak uses the Flathub remote.
A package that a manager doesn't have is hidden for that manager, so you can't tick something that won't install. apt and pacman get an update command in front. The others get just the install command.
It's small on purpose: one page, one script, no libraries, served by Flask at /pakko/. It all runs in the browser. The tool makes no network requests and stores nothing.
Results
56 packages in 8 categories: browsers, editors, terminal tools, multimedia, system utilities, gaming, dev tools and security. I haven't measured anything beyond that, so I won't put other numbers here.
Stack
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flask.
